Summary
This study tested whether a probiotic supplement could change gut bacteria and reduce harmful antibodies in people with IgA nephropathy, a kidney disease. 18 adults took the probiotic for 3 months. Researchers measured changes in antibody levels and kidney function over 6 months to see if this approach is safe and promising.
