Gut bacteria pills tested as natural blood pressure fix
NCT ID NCT07206303
Summary
This is a small, early-stage study to see if taking a specific probiotic supplement for 10 weeks can help lower high blood pressure. Researchers will enroll 30 middle-aged Chinese adults with untreated hypertension to test if the probiotic affects their blood pressure, gut bacteria, and inflammation markers. The main goal is to gather preliminary data to plan a larger future trial.
