Can a simple nasal spray help kids beat pneumonia faster?
NCT ID NCT07399717
Summary
This study is testing whether adding probiotics to standard pneumonia treatment helps young children recover better. Researchers will give 330 children aged 6-36 months either a probiotic nasal spray, a spray plus an oral probiotic, or a placebo, alongside their regular hospital care. The goal is to see if the probiotics shorten recovery time, reduce symptoms, and prevent the illness from coming back after they go home.
