Yogurt bacteria tested as a natural shield against brittle bones
NCT ID NCT05332626
Summary
This study tested whether taking a specific probiotic (Lactobacillus acidophilus) could help control bone loss in women after menopause. Researchers gave the probiotic or a placebo to 90 women for several months to see if it improved their calcium levels and bone density. The goal was to find a simple, natural supplement to help manage the risk of osteoporosis.
