First seen Nov 10, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 31 times

Summary

This study tests whether probiotics (good bacteria) can help treat anal precancerous lesions (HSIL) and reduce high-risk HPV infection in 90 people living with HIV. The goal is to see if the lesions disappear or shrink, and if the virus clears, potentially preventing anal cancer. Participants will take probiotics and be monitored for side effects and disease changes.
