Summary

This study looked at whether adding a probiotic called VSL#3 to standard treatment can improve disease activity and reduce flare-ups in children with juvenile idiopathic arthritis (JIA). Fifty-one children aged 1 to 7 with specific types of JIA took part. The goal was to see if the probiotic could help control the disease and change gut bacteria.
