Summary
This study is testing whether a probiotic supplement called MR-61 can help slow down the progression of nearsightedness (myopia) in children and teenagers. About 164 participants aged 3 to 18 will be randomly assigned to receive either the probiotic or a placebo for a period of time. Researchers will measure changes in their eye prescription and length, while also checking for effects on gut health and overall well-being.
