Could a probiotic calm psoriasis flares?
NCT ID NCT07194200
Summary
This study is testing whether a specific probiotic, Lactobacillus plantarum, can help control psoriasis. Researchers believe an imbalance in skin bacteria may worsen the condition. The trial will compare the probiotic against a placebo in 184 adults with mild-to-moderate psoriasis to see if it improves skin health and reduces symptoms.
