Can a simple probiotic boost Babies' vaccine shields after antibiotics?
NCT ID NCT07189390
Summary
This study is testing whether giving a probiotic to infants who received antibiotics in their first month of life can help them build a better immune response to their routine childhood shots. Researchers will compare babies who get the probiotic to those who get a placebo, checking their antibody levels and gut bacteria over a year. The goal is to see if this simple treatment can help ensure these babies are well-protected by their vaccines.
