First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 20, 2026 · Updated 31 times
Summary
This study tests whether a daily probiotic mixture can improve liver health in adults with moderate fatty liver disease (MASLD). About 60 participants will take either the probiotic or a placebo for 6 months. Researchers will measure liver fat and stiffness using a special scan, along with blood sugar and cholesterol levels. The goal is to see if probiotics can help control the disease, not cure it.
