Summary
This study is testing whether a daily probiotic capsule can help improve cholesterol, blood sugar control, and thinking skills in adults with prediabetes or diabetes. Researchers will enroll 210 people to take either the probiotic or a placebo pill for 12 weeks. The goal is to see if this specific gut bacteria can improve heart and brain health in these conditions.
