Summary
This study tests whether a probiotic called Clostridium butyricum can lessen severe diarrhea and other side effects during chemotherapy for colorectal cancer. About 238 adults who had surgery for colorectal cancer and need follow-up chemo will take either the probiotic or a placebo. The goal is to see if the probiotic helps them tolerate treatment better.
