Gut check: can probiotics help tame MS?
NCT ID NCT07168772
Summary
This study is testing whether taking a specific probiotic supplement can help people with relapsing-remitting multiple sclerosis (MS) better manage their condition. It will involve 80 participants who will take either the probiotic or a placebo (inactive substance) twice daily for six months, while continuing their standard MS medications. Researchers will measure changes in immune cells and other markers to see if the probiotic has a beneficial effect.
