Summary

This study tests whether giving hospital patients personalized feedback on smoking, alcohol, diet, and physical activity can help them make lasting healthy changes. About 788 adults admitted to non-intensive care wards will be randomly assigned to receive either tailored advice or usual care. Researchers will track changes in behavior over two years to see if this low-cost approach can prevent future disease.
