First seen Apr 07, 2026 · Last updated Jun 08, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looks at the fluid around the brain (cerebrospinal fluid) from people with breast cancer that has spread to the brain or its lining. Researchers will collect this fluid to find genetic material shed by cancer cells, helping them understand how the cancer changes when it spreads. The goal is to learn why some breast cancers spread to the brain and to support the development of new treatments. About 69 participants will join this observational study.
