Home prehab program tested before major surgery
NCT ID NCT07590141
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This pilot study tests whether a virtual, home-based prehabilitation program is practical for adults awaiting major elective surgery. About 120 participants will be randomly assigned to either the program (exercise, nutrition, mindfulness, and protein supplements) or standard care. The main goal is to see if people can be recruited and stick with the program, which will guide a larger future trial.
