Summary
This study looks at whether it is safe to remove kidney stones right away in people whose kidneys are not working well due to the blockage. Normally, doctors place a temporary tube first to protect the kidney, but this adds extra procedures and visits. The trial will enroll 60 adults with a single blocked ureter and reduced kidney function, and will check for complications and how well the stone is cleared. If it works, patients could get faster relief and avoid a second surgery.
