First seen Apr 29, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looked at 29 healthy adults who needed both lower wisdom teeth removed. One side got a platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) gel, the other a collagen sponge, to see which helped the socket heal better. Researchers measured pain, swelling, and bone healing on x-rays. The goal is to find which material reduces discomfort and speeds recovery after surgery.
