Summary

This study tested whether adding platelet-rich fibrin (a concentrate from your own blood) plus the antibiotic minocycline works better than the antibiotic Arestin alone for treating gum disease. Fifteen adults with moderate gum disease received both treatments in different parts of their mouth. The goal was to see which combination improves gum attachment and reduces pocket depth better.
