New face cream shows promise for firmer, more hydrated skin

NCT ID NCT07359924

Summary

This study tested whether adding platelet-rich fibrin (PRF) to a face cream could improve signs of skin aging. Twenty healthy volunteers applied three different creams to their face for four weeks. The cream containing PRF showed the best results for increasing skin hydration and elasticity while also improving the skin's protective barrier.
