Bacterial cocktail may stop baby wheeze after bronchiolitis

Summary
This study tests whether an oral bacterial lysate (Broncho-Vaxom) can prevent wheezing in infants who were hospitalized for severe bronchiolitis. About 173 babies will receive either the bacterial extract or a placebo for up to 24 months. The goal is to see if this treatment reduces the number of wheezing episodes over one year.
