First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Apr 30, 2026 · Updated 13 times

Summary

This study compares three methods to prevent pain caused by the tourniquet (a tight band that stops blood flow) during forearm surgery. About 60 adults having surgery below the elbow will be randomly assigned to receive one of two nerve blocks or a pain pump. The goal is to see which approach works best to keep patients comfortable during the procedure.
