New study aims to take the pain out of forearm surgery tourniquets

Summary
This study tests three different ways to prevent pain from a tourniquet (a tight band that stops blood flow) during forearm surgery. Sixty adults having forearm surgery will be randomly assigned to receive one of three pain-blocking methods. The goal is to find which method works best to keep patients comfortable during the procedure.
