NCT ID NCT04600973

Summary

This study aims to find the best way for hospitals to implement a proven infection prevention program. It will involve 6,000 patients having joint or spine surgery across many hospitals. The program combines several basic safety steps, like better hand hygiene and patient skin cleaning, with special software to track bacteria, to stop dangerous germs from spreading and causing surgical site infections.
