Summary
This early study is testing whether a drug called emapalumab can prevent graft rejection in high-risk patients receiving stem cell transplants. Researchers believe blocking a specific immune signal (interferon gamma) might stop the body from rejecting the new cells. The trial will enroll 20 patients to check if the drug works and learn how it behaves in the body to guide future treatment.
