Summary
This study tests whether dexmedetomidine or midazolam is better at preventing shivering in trauma patients undergoing lower leg surgery with spinal anesthesia. Shivering is common after spinal anesthesia and can cause discomfort and complications. The trial will enroll 100 adults and monitor shivering during and after surgery.
