NCT ID NCT07327879
Summary
This study aims to find the best and safest dose of a drug called dexmedetomidine to prevent shivering in patients receiving spinal anesthesia. It will compare three different low doses against a placebo in 120 adults having surgery to remove kidney stones. The goal is to reduce this uncomfortable side effect while minimizing risks like low blood pressure or excessive sleepiness.
