First seen Jan 19, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study tests whether taking a low-dose aspirin and a stomach medication (lansoprazole) every day can help prevent preterm birth (delivery before 37 weeks) in pregnant women at high risk. Researchers will enroll 670 women between 12 and 16 weeks of pregnancy and follow them through delivery. The goal is to see if this combination is safer and more effective than current standard care.
