Simple score could help doctors spot and stop early births
NCT ID NCT07415070
Summary
This study is testing a new two-step method to try to prevent babies from being born too early. First, pregnant women fill out a simple checklist to see if they are at higher risk. Those with a high score get a special ultrasound to check the cervix. If the cervix is short, they are offered standard preventive treatments. The goal is to see if this targeted approach works better than the usual prenatal care at reducing early births.
