New timing of chemo may tame nerve damage in leukemia drug

Summary

This study tests whether giving chemotherapy into the spinal fluid before and during blinatumomab treatment can prevent nerve-related side effects in adults with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. About 20 participants will receive the adjusted schedule. The goal is to keep the leukemia-fighting power of blinatumomab while reducing risks like confusion or seizures.
