Race against time: can early drug combo halt crippling muscle disease?

Summary
This study tests if starting strong anti-inflammatory drugs (corticosteroids) right after diagnosis, and adding a targeted immune drug (rituximab) if needed, can prevent eye muscle weakness from spreading to other muscles in people with ocular myasthenia gravis. It will compare this proactive approach to the current standard of waiting and treating symptoms. The goal is to change the course of the disease early on, potentially avoiding more severe disability and the need for long-term, stronger medications.
