ICU trial aims to stop dialysis danger before it strikes
NCT ID NCT07179705
Summary
This study is testing whether a new computer prediction tool can help prevent dangerous drops in blood pressure during dialysis for critically ill patients. The tool alerts doctors before a patient's blood pressure gets too low, allowing for earlier treatment. The trial involves 46 adult patients in a medical ICU who need dialysis and already have a special blood pressure monitor in place.
