Summary
This study tested two antibiotics given before kidney stone surgery to see which one better prevents infections and sepsis. 210 adults took part. One group received a single dose of fosfomycin trometamol, and the other took levofloxacin for five days. The goal was to find the most effective way to keep patients safe from post-surgery infections.
