NCT ID NCT04508907

Summary

This study tests whether a short course of two drugs can prevent hepatitis C from spreading when an organ from an infected donor is transplanted into an uninfected patient. It involves 200 kidney, heart, lung, or pancreas transplant recipients who agree to accept an organ from a hepatitis C-positive donor. The main goal is to see if this treatment stops the recipients from getting the hepatitis C infection.
