First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study tests whether a single anti-VEGF injection given during cataract surgery works as well as three injections (one during surgery and two afterward) to prevent diabetic retinopathy from getting worse. About 166 diabetic adults with non-advanced eye disease will take part. The goal is to find a simpler, effective way to protect vision after cataract surgery.
