Summary
This study looked at whether a personalized approach using custom-made shoes and other foot devices can reduce the return of foot ulcers in people with diabetes. 126 adults with diabetes who had a healed foot ulcer in the past 4 years took part. The goal was to see if this approach is cost-effective and improves quality of life by preventing new ulcers.
