Summary
This study tests two simple, low-cost ways to prevent painful mouth sores caused by chemotherapy. About 60 cancer patients who have not yet developed mouth sores will either apply cold (like ice chips) or use artificial saliva during treatment. Researchers will compare which method works better at keeping the mouth healthy and comfortable.
