First seen Feb 01, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 11 times
Summary
This study tests whether giving chemotherapy drugs directly into the spinal fluid can prevent serious brain-related side effects in people receiving CAR T-cell therapy for blood cancers. About 20-70% of CAR T-cell patients experience neurotoxicity, which can cause confusion, hallucinations, or seizures. The trial will enroll 26 adults and aims to reduce the risk of severe neurological complications.
