Common allergy pill vs. Vitamin-Like supplement: the fight against cancer treatment pain

NCT ID NCT07300735

Summary

This study aims to find the best way to prevent severe bone pain, a common side effect of a drug (G-CSF) used to boost white blood cells in people with blood cancers like leukemia. Researchers are comparing a common allergy pill (loratadine), a plant-based supplement (diosmin-hesperidin), and their combination to see which one best stops the pain before it starts. About 88 adult patients will take one of these options for 5 days alongside their standard treatment.
