Battle of the Anti-Shiver drugs in trauma surgery

Summary

This study aims to find out which of two common anesthetic drugs, dexmedetomidine or midazolam, is better at preventing shivering in trauma patients having leg surgery with spinal anesthesia. Shivering is a frequent and uncomfortable side effect that can complicate recovery. The trial will enroll 100 adult patients to directly compare how well each drug works.
