Tiny dose before surgery could stop scary waking moments

NCT ID NCT07302815

Summary

This study is testing if a very small, single dose of a sedative medicine given before surgery can prevent patients from becoming confused, restless, or agitated when waking up from anesthesia after nose surgery. It will involve 120 adults having a specific nose surgery called septoplasty. The goal is to see if this low-dose approach safely reduces agitation without slowing down recovery time.
