First seen Sep 30, 2025 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether a 6-month drug combination containing pretomanid can safely and effectively treat drug-resistant tuberculosis in people with type 2 diabetes. About 60 patients aged 12 and older will take the same four oral drugs, and researchers will compare outcomes between those with and without diabetes. The goal is to find a shorter, safer treatment option for this high-risk group.
