New remote monitoring could help preterm babies breathe easier

Summary

This study tests a remote monitoring system to better manage oxygen therapy in premature infants born before 32 weeks who have bronchopulmonary dysplasia (a chronic lung disease). The goal is to reduce health complications and improve development by closely tracking oxygen needs. About 70 infants will participate across multiple hospitals in the Czech Republic.
