First seen Jan 09, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 23 times

Summary

This study tests special lens implants that correct both cataracts and presbyopia (age-related blurry near vision) in people with unusual eye shapes. About 320 adults with conditions like lens dislocation or inflammation will get these lenses during cataract surgery. Doctors will use advanced imaging to place the lenses precisely and check if patients see better without glasses.
