Team huddle before surgery may save lives

Summary
This study looks at whether having a team of doctors meet before surgery to discuss high-risk patients can reduce serious complications. About 1200 adults with health issues or frailty who need noncardiac surgery will take part. Researchers will compare those whose care team had a structured meeting beforehand to those who received usual care.
