First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 13 times
Summary
This study looks at whether having a team of doctors meet to discuss high-risk patients before noncardiac surgery can reduce serious complications like organ failure or death. About 1200 adults with higher health risks will be followed for up to a year. The goal is to see if this planning approach is effective and worth the cost.
