Does Long-Term HIV prevention pill change sexual risk?

NCT ID NCT06600087

Summary

This study looked at people taking PrEP, a daily pill to prevent HIV, to see if using it for a long time changes their sexual behaviors or their chances of getting other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). Researchers compared 248 people in France who had been on PrEP for over a year to those on it for less than a year. The goal was to gather information to help guide future PrEP prescriptions and improve overall sexual health prevention strategies.
