Summary

This study tested a training program for family medicine doctors in Alabama to help them talk about HIV and STI prevention with teenage girls and young women. 46 doctors took part and completed surveys before and after training to see if their knowledge and practices changed. The goal was to see if the training was practical and well-liked, and to improve how doctors prescribe PrEP, a daily pill that prevents HIV.
