New push to get HIV prevention meds to black women in the south

Summary

This study aims to increase use of PrEP (a daily pill that prevents HIV) among Black women in community health clinics in the Midwest and South. Researchers will test four strategies: training clinic staff, educating patients, improving electronic health records, and providing patient navigators. About 680 HIV-negative women aged 18 and older will take part.
