First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at whether men who have sex with men (MSM) in Burkina Faso, Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, and Togo would accept and use PrEP (a daily or on-demand pill) to prevent HIV. Over 600 HIV-negative men at high risk took part, receiving regular check-ups, STI testing, and support. The goal was to see if PrEP is practical and effective in real-world community clinics.
