Pre-Surgery lessons boost recovery for gallbladder patients

Summary
This study tests whether a special education class before gallbladder removal surgery helps patients recover better and feel better afterward. About 200 adults having the surgery will either get the usual care or also attend a class about gallstones and the operation. Researchers will compare quality of life and knowledge between the two groups.
